Steve Kuieck, owner of RiverQuest, has been guiding our home river the Muskegon
since 1996. He has fished this river for over twenty years having his first success
with Steelhead on a fly rod at the age of eight. Guiding customers of all skill
levels is one of the most rewarding aspects of guiding. From never handling a
fly rod (or any fishing rod), to a seasoned fly fisherman, Steve possesses the
skill and knowledge to present helpfulness to anyone.
As a fly fishing guide, Steve is often asked how he handles the
experience of watching others catch fish instead of fishing for
the "big" one himself? His simple answer; "I feel
great happiness watching others have success fishing with me. I
enjoy watching someone catch their first fish as I do watching
a seasoned fly fisherman land the fish of his life."
Steve and his wife Lisa have a family of three boys; Masen, Zachery,
and Brycen. They cherish their everyday experiences and Steve hopes
to spend many days hunting and fishing together.
