Fishing
  • Guests fish in pairs with a guide. 16 foot flats skiffs are used for transportation and as fishing platforms. Fishing combines wading and poling, depending on guest preferences and fishing conditions.
  • Andros South is not fly-only. Some guests use spinning gear as well, either to target bonefish in windy conditions or to pursue 'other species' near deep channels, blue holes and reefs.
Facilities
  • Andros South is located on the beach in the small settlement of Kemp’s Bay on South Andros Island.
  • Lodging is single-occupancy—one angler per room, with group leaders occasionally sharing double-occupancy rooms. Guest rooms are split between a lodge building (9 rooms) and a small cabana (2 rooms).
  • A separate building contains the dining room and kitchen.
  • A small tiki hut on the beach provides a great spot for an evening cocktail.
  • All buildings are air-conditioned and cleaned daily.

  • Guests fly to Fort Lauderdale via a variety of commercial carriers. Lynx Air International provides scheduled service from Fort Lauderdale direct to Congo Town, South Andros, twice weekly. Additional connection options are available through Nassau, Bahamas.
